I suggest using Google Form for surveys like this Apr 30

Hi Kim,

I understand that everyone has their own methods that works for them but I would highly recommend using a website like Google Form to compile your questions then link your survey here.

Hi Kim,

It will make it a lot easier for both you and the participants as you can pricisely control the parameters of each questions whether it is an open-ended, close-ended, or Linkert scale question. This way, participants will be able to answer quickly, easily, and anonymously without veering off course, while all the answers will be automatically tracked and compiled in the same place for you to find.

Not only that but you will be able to send or post your survey anywhere on the internet very easily.

You can message me if you need help to set it up.

Apart from the localisation connection e.g. according to speakers at a FIT Congress, the problems of switch of the stage play My Fair Lady to the setting of Hong Kong or Helsinki in Finland, these topics have been canvassed in the English language - or an approximation thereto:

Alas, the school 'teachers' of English at my schools in the South of England had been unable to distinguish between metaphors, similes and figures of speech.

plus the UK Insititute of Translation and Interpreting whereof both Phil G. and I had been (arguably valued) members:

An extract from the pamphlet of 'Getting it Right':

A British PM told Japanese industrialists that he planned “to go
the full monty” in fixing the UK economy. Blank faces: cultural
gap. (In 1942, Field Marshal Montgomery had flummoxed non-
British BBC listeners with a cricket metaphor: “We’ll hit them
for six!”, he told troops on the eve of the battle of El Alamein.)
