I have started using Dragon Naturally Speaking Preferred 8 with Trados 6.
Windows XP, Word 2000.
I open a segment, speak the translation and close it.
Only problem is that I can never get the translated segment to start with a capital letter (becuase Dragon reads a full stop as a sign to start with a cap, but doesn't have one becuse of Trados segmenting).
How can I instruct Dragon to start with a cap?

Dictate the punctuation

Hi Ailish
You have to say "Cap" before the sentence e.g. "Cap". "You are only standing on my foot".

You don't have to dictate the caps if you "hide hidden text", in "options" or whatever it's called in an English version of Word (I use a French version).
I'm using DNS7 preferred + XP + Trados 6 + Word 2002 so I can't be 100% sure in your case though.
