Hello all,
Does anyone know of problems with Windows XP Service Pack 2 and Trados, SDLX, Transit, and Dragon (lumping it in even though it is not a CAT tool)?
Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

I have no problems with the Service Pack.

I haven't had any problems with either Trados WB 6.5.5.438 (Build 439)/MultiTermiX 6.2.0.267 (Build 267) or DVX 7.0.273 on XP Pro with SP2.

You might want to check out the Yahoo group archives for the tools that interest you:

as well as the other groups for SDLX, Wordfast etc.

For a while, XP SP2 was the prime suspect for all sorts of problems but AFAIR, in most cases it turned out not to be responsible. I had one or two minor problems installing SP2, but my CAT tools seemed to like it once it was up and running.

No problems with Trados and Transit Jan 19, 2005

I haven´t check SDLX since, but Trados 6.5.2.439 and Trados 3 and Transit Satellite PE 3.0 are working smoothly and without any problems.

No problems with other programs, however I do not have any voice recognition software. But antivirus, firewall, DVD/CD burning, zipping and so on are not disturbed in any way.
