Hi,

accidently I hit a key combination that removed the little language icon from my taskbar which usually indicates what keyboard layout/language settings I am currently using. I haven't managed to get it back to its place, so I am kindly asking for some help from fellow ProZians.

Can anyone out there tell me how to display this icon? In case I haven't been clear enough: I am talking about the icon that appears on the taskbar, in the right lower corner, left to the fi... See more

In Control Panel, open Regional and Language Options.

Select the center tab, Languages.

Click on Details.

Select the Advanced tab.

Uncheck the bottom box.

If said box isn't checked, then select Settings.

Add a language (any) and press Apply. This should work.
