Hi,

I'm trying to open a pdf file on SDL trados 2009, but it doesn't work.I get an error message saying:
"Error when pre-tweaking file: Exception has been thrown by the targetof an innovation."

Can someone help me out here? My source doc is that one in pdf and if i cannot open it, it's going to be difficult.

- Search the forum for "pre-tweaking". There are quite a few threads on this subject.
- Avoid the problem by using an external OCR. That way you'll be in control.

Just a small correction for the error message to appear correctly in the forums: "Error when pre-tweaking file: Exception has been thrown by the target of invocation."

Emma's suggestion is of course the best one for this situation.
