Hello everybody,

Maybe some of you have already experienced with desktop microphones instead of the classical headset. My experience with those kind of devices a couple of years ago was not very convincing.

Maybe some of you have already experienced with desktop microphones instead of the classical headset. My experience with those kind of devices a couple of years ago was not very convincing.

But since a brandnew table mike has been on the market for a couple of weeks (Speechware USB Table Mike 3-in-1), my opinion has totally changed. This totally affordable device offers unparalleled accuracy and is even better than most good headsets. It offers a new way of dictating since it is located on your desk. Furthermore the radiation problem of wireless headsets is no longer an issue. This will definitely be my new way of working from now on. Background noise, which has always been the issue with those kind of microphones, is no longer a problem. Accuracy rate is close to 100%. Anyone else has tested this new mic?
