Good afternoon everyone,



I have been contacted by an agency and they prefer to work using SDLX light. I use Trados and I\'ve read somewhere before that Trados does not like sharing a computer with other CAT tools...



Trados works extremely well on my laptop and I would hate to mess things up by adding this other CAT tool to my machine (too many jobs at stake here!).



Has anyone tried these two together?

I have met the same situation and it didn\'t create any problem. Basically I think it would be OK because many non-Trados CAT tools are designed to work with Trados TM.



Let\'s see what other people say because I\'m not well-informed on this issue.

I have Trados, SDLX and Transit - all in the same computer and no problem until now

Hi,



I have both Trados 5.0 & SDLX v. 4.2 installed, no conflict at all: SDLX has its own editor (SDLX Edit), no need for MS Word. SDLX is easy to use and to set.
