The information you exchange with this site cannot be seen or changed by others, nevertheless, there is a problem with the security certificate of this site.
The security certificate was issued by a company you did not choose to trust. Show the certificate to determine whether you want to trust the certification authority.
The date of the security certificate is valid.
The name of the security certificate does not correspond to the name of the site.
Do you want to continue?
Could I have a clarification about this? I\'d also like to know how to proceed.
Thank you for any help you can give me.
PS: I translated the warning from Brazilian Portuguese.
...if the site belongs to a big company like Yahoo or PayPal. What it is is that your security options are probably on high (check Tools -- Internet Options -- Security), which is actually a good idea because your system will warn you about certain sites.
I receive the same warning when I deal with sites that encrypt my credit card number, but do not encrypt other personal info like name, etc. I simply continue if I want to make the transaction.

Hope this helps.
Tagalog, you certainly helped me a lot, and I thank you very much. Is it possible to register for an International PayPal account, using my wallet? I live in Brazil and would like to know if I can have my master credit card account credited by payments processed in New York. As I am a freelancer, I think I will have to register with a Premium Account, so as to activate credit card payments. As I would be receiving small sums of dollars, I don\'t think a Business Account would be necessary.
Thanking you for any additional information you can give me. ▲ Collapse
