In the last few weeks I've come to realize how truly blessed my life is at the moment. I have wonderful friends and family and my freelance career is off to an amazing start. I'd been so caught up on stressing over deadlines and/or worrying about the little things that I hadn't truly understood how lucky I am. I think sometimes we all forget to remember what good things we do have and concentrate on the problems instead.

My only hope for the coming year is for anyone with the desire to hurt themselves or others to get the help they need. This world can be cruel enough without us adding to it. Unfortunately I don't think this is a wish that even Santa can help with, but it's nice to remain optimistic.
With that said, merry Christmas and a happy new year to all. I wish you and your families all the best for a healthy and productive 2013. May the year be happy and stress-free for us all.
