Leave it on all the time Dec 3, 2016

Why bother starting up the computer if you can turn off the display and let it back up the system, record video or just sit there for you all night long? The only time I turn off my box is when I go on vacation.

Nothing Dec 3, 2016

My old computer used to take about twenty minutes to start up, so I switched it on before breakfast, and hopefully it would be ready by the time I had finished eating.
Now I have a shiny new computer that takes just a few seconds to load, so there isn't time to do much more than straighten the pencils on the desk.

I sit down on my chair Dec 3, 2016

As I always hibernate my computer and never shut it down, it takes 10 seconds to start.

No rest for the wicked Dec 3, 2016

Nothing, I usually let my computer "Hibernate" and never turn it off unless I have finished ALL of my projects with nothing to do the next morning. So it's just a matter of seconds.
Now ask me what do I do while waiting for TRADOS to start up :-/

Nothing like an elegant turn of phrase.

P.S: Sorry for the double posting - bad connection.

PCs don't take "that long" to start up anymore. The only thing we can do is to go get a cup of coffee, and come back to drink it while working... or leave it waiting.
