Born in India to a multilingual family, I experienced the joy of languages from an early age. Originally a webdeveloper by trade, only a chance encounter with the literary translation world made me realize that what I hungered to work with were not programming languages, but rather the human languages that we use to communicate with one another.
My passion is translating any and all Japanese media, but games and light novels most of all. Being able to immerse myself into the dialogue between characters is what brings me the most joy. The stories are simple yet complex, and the nuance within them is what drives me to do the work that I do.
In my offtime, I very much enjoy consuming Japanese media of all sorts, from videogames, to anime, music, novels, audio dramas, anything really.
I've translated several hundred thousand lines of dialogue in my time as a translator, and can guarantee quick and prompt work according to any deadlines. As I also used to be a webdeveloper, I can do website localization just fine as well.
The work I'm most proud of is my work on Koikatsu, where I translated 250000 lines of text over a span of 3 years for a fan translation project. Please, feel free to ask me about it, I'd love to talk your ear off. |
