A keypad seems to be something that you need a code or key to access, so I wouldn't use that.
Not sure if my response is any better than the other one, but it might help you find something that is more specifically suitable.
Anyway, it's tricky because you usually don't "hit the [floor selector] button, please"....you usually say "2, please."
