"Pressbearbetning" is not a very good term for what the writers try to convey. Sounds like a very genre-specific expression, but maybe that's the way those people write. But, obviously, what they mean is the process of getting media interested. Better to use a verb in English.
Example sentence:
"that we can use to get the press interested ... ", eller "to raise media interest", something like that

I think this means to draw the attention of the press to important aspects and give journalists a rounded picture of what is going on.
It need not be a biased picture - it may simply mean helping them to put their story across, finding suitably representative employees for interviews, places to take pictures without revealing industrial secrets and so on.
The journalists may only have a superficial knowledge of the company, and may miss important points on a short visit.
