Farcon\'s experience in forming and thermoforming (which dates back to 1948) enables the plug-assisted thermoforming of the most different thermoformable materials presently available on the market, and in particular allowed the development of an integrated system to handle polypropilene film.
At the same time, this long experience gives Farcon a very strong base for the cold-forming of multi-layer aluminum. Over the years the machines have been adapted, each one to a special application branch, and made suitable for automatically handling a big variety of products: with the FDC series, products can be packed into mixed containers (cardboard + thermoformed) or in double-carton packages (all cardboard). The machines and the devices shown in these pages are the fruits of farcon experience end accomplishments, and represent just part of the various possible applications. This variety of purposes is possible thanks to the simple construction and operation of farcon\'s machines. The assembly is designed so that the machines can be inserted without any difficulty into automated production lines, for which farcon have been accumulating a great experience. The alternate motion provides the opportunity to feed and package products that until now have been impossible to handle automatically. Upon request, vision systems and PC-based supervising/controlling systems with on-line production data collection can be integrated.
