Portuguese term

Mérito na agregação de valores ao xxxx

Portuguese to English Other International Org/Dev/Coop Performance appraisal
This is an isolated quote from a performance appraisal. It appears as a cell in a table with no other immediate context. xxxx" stands for the name of the project. Elsewhere in the document it says that the person received an overall rating of "Muito Bom (93%)" I thought of something like "Deserves meritorious recognition for contributing to the values of the xxxx" - not sure if that's the right tone.

@All Thank you for your helpful answers. It was hard to choose, but in the end I decided to say "Instrumental in adding value to the xxxx." It best matches the attitude of her supervisors as I moved through the document.

Deserves praise for adding value to

Hi, Muriel. It would be a bit less formal, in my understanding. And, although "adding value" may sound too literal, I think it's a common term in business nowadays.

In fact, I believe this is an example of calque from English.

Praiseworthy for adding value to xxxx

I think you are on the right track. I suggest making the translation a little shorter. "

"Praiseworthy" translates as "meritório", so I think it's in line with the meaning you want to express. See https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/meritório

Perhaps "praiseworthy for adding value to..." or "worthy of praise..."
