Segundo um dicionário que eu consultei, friccionar vem de fricção e pode ter os seguintes significados: esfregar; fomentar; fazer fricção. Independemente da tradução que se escolha, parece-me incorreto o uso da palavra friccionar nesse contexto.

: Acho que é isso mesmo. Eu nem tinha entendido a frase e até fui procurar o sentido de friccionar no dicionário e não encontrei nada que se encaixasse.
