This is from a presentation on how a company will implement the requirements of the personal information protection law. This word is most often translated as "dependence," but that really doesn't make any sense to me in this context.

What would be the proper translation, and what exactly are they referring to with 依存性 in this context?

Thank you.

Section to post Unfortunately that is the entire section! This is a powerpoint presentation. These are the only areas where the word appears in the presentation.

Do you have part of the section that you could post?
Non-ProZ.com Dec 20, 2004:
Mojibake Under "table of contents" and "that section", [X is supposed to be "risoosu". In the last sentence of "that section," ” is supposed to be "kanousei".

dependence

This is tough. My best guess is that the required items are given precedence in development depending on the the system development resources according to their order of priority, and that this somehow depends on (or is in accordance with) the personal information protection law. HTH

「依存する」には、当てにする、以外にも『信頼する』という意味が有りますのでこちらの意味ではないでしょうか。全くの推量です。
