Italian term

apparato tecnico

Italian to English Other Social Science, Sociology, Ethics, etc. tecnologie e smart city

Would "technical system" be comprehensive?

Thanks!

disagree James (Jim) Davis : I thing that Phil's alternative is much better in the context of STS, where man machine interaction is much more about things like reaction times in hitting a brake pedal.

From wiki

I'd go for Phil's suggestion on the basis of the following:
Sociotechnical systems (STS) in organizational development is an approach to complex organizational work design that recognizes the interaction between people and technology in workplaces.
