Italian to English Marketing Retail shopping

(XXX in this case is a service/shopping solution offered by a data company to stores, enabling customers to do self-scanning and self-checkout. The QB Operators are store personnel who assist customers, showing them how to reduce time in queue by ringing up their own groceries).

It seems this is a phrase used now; Google reveals a few uses, but I have no idea what it means. It's apparently some part (perhaps) of the software of the service in question.
