Italian to English Art/Literary Poetry & Literature essay on Plutarch\\\'s comments on Hesiod\'s works - Divine retribution and punishment

Context:
questo accostamento tra indugio (ἀμβολιεργός /ἀναβολαὶ) e delitti (μοχθηρῶν ἔργων) si ritrova, come visto, nel passo del De sera dove l'esiodeo ἀμβολιεργοὺς si riferisce a chi non indugia nel compiere il male (κακῶς ποιεῖν) e che andrebbe invece arrestato dall'immediato castigo decretato dal dio. Sembra probabile che almeno l'ultima frase possa essere considerata affine al pensiero plutarcheo e al testo dell'opuscolo.

Here, I am not sure whether the "arrestato" part means ...."and, instead, should be prevented from carrying out the punishment inflicted by the god"
