I know this already appears in the glossary, but I have no idea who they are referring to with the word "cedenti" here, apart from the fact that the sentence (below) is confusing me generally. The sentence below is the conclusion of a summary of a dispute about issue of VAT-free invoices that should (probably) have included VAT. Any help would be very welcome, but unfortunately this is extremely urgent... Thanks!

| Good morning/evening to you too! I like the sentence, the only thing that worries me is that as far as I know company XXX is not selling anything, it has undergone a tax audit and believes that company YYY is liable for payment of any evaded tax should the findings of the appeal be negative. |
