Italian term

accreditare

Italian to English Tech/Engineering IT (Information Technology)
My question related to data transfer and 'nodes'. I'm out of my comfort zone here and just wondering if 'accredit' is the appropriate term in English. The context relates to the transfer of data by financial institutions to the Italian Revenue Agency through use of a dedicated platform. Here's the specific paragraph

Help from those in the know would be appreciated
Thanks

Accreditare I pay my Income Tax to the Revenue online and in order to do this I had to "create a secure online account" with BillPay. Could your "accreditare" be rendered by "create" with "nodo" ending up as "account" or "connection online"?

or register perhaps. I think what they mean is to have a node registered as authorized for those purposes, so 'nodi accreditati' would be (previously) authorized nodes

agree James (Jim) Davis : This is what I feel. Have a connection authorised or approved.

Thank you Jim :) In fact I think I like 'have approved' better
