Italian term

RTF

Italian to English Bus/Financial IT (Information Technology) privacy, data

[my attempt]:
"In this sense, the PROFESSIONAL acknowledges ZZZ's proprietary rights over the productive, organizational and technical industrial processes (such as, but not limited to: qualified personnel searches, RTF, RCL, even in the form of simple models, organizational charts of work and/or commissions, contract schemes) and agrees, now and in the future, to keep these matters confidential and thus not to disclose them to third parties or use them for purposes other than the tasks assigned him or her, unless specifically authorized by ZZZ."

I am having trouble with that whole stream of (apparently Italian) acronyms: I've found RQP stands for "ricerca qualificata personale"; for RCL I've found "Ridotte Capacità Lavorative", but this refers to an Italian film following some problem at Fiat, I'm unable to find reference to this phrase outside of that context and so it may not be the correct translation of that acronym. For RTF, I can't find anything other than the obvious Google results for "rich text format", which is surely not it.

Thanks to anyone who can shed any light on this,

Peter

Discussion

Peter Waymel (asker) Oct 11, 2012:
Hi Kelly, I really don't have more context than this. It's part of a contract than an employee of a company signs, stipulating that he will respect the privacy of the individuals whose data he comes to have access to, by using only methods and processes that will respect and ensure such privacy, etc. Then there's this clause concerning the prospective employees respect for the privacy and working methods of the company itself.
Thanks for your help!
S Kelly Oct 10, 2012:
Hi Peter, it may be to do with job titles rather than contract types. What area of business are we talking about. I've seen RQP as Resp. qualità plastica. They could be a whole load of "responsabile"s

See my answer for the RCL query. I am unable to come up with a better alternative : RTF in the IT context means that. It is a document language or specification, and so may refer to internal company standards in relation to process preparation, perhaps on the documentation side. First link below has more details.
My second link below refers to your third query - RQP - I think that is Reverse Query Processing, this will be one of the techniques used by the company in their various processes. HTH.

4 KudoZ points awarded for this answer. Comment: "Thanks Laurence. I'm not sure if in this case RTF is indeed rich text format; it may be something else: the context and Phil's comment above make me think it's a process. At any rate, points because you answered my other doubt, regarding RQP: I think you're spot on, there. Thank you! "

Peer comment(s):

disagree philgoddard : (a) This question is about RTF, and (b) it's a process, not an individual. A company doesn't have proprietary rights over its employees.

a) The asker has asked for help with the stream, RTF, RQP, RCL. I responded with regard to the one solution I found. b) the company is outlining its proprietary organisational processes (which includes the manner in which it decides to select employees
