remisage is stabling a train (on a holding track). Prise de service is putting it back into circulation. Trains cannot be left standing at platforms awaiting their next assignment. They are taken to stabling sidings or holding tracks before being brought back up again for their next run.

J'ai trouvé deux choses: 'storage facilities' et 'storage sidings'. L'un pour l'entretien et l'entreposage de trains, l'autre comme espace de rails servant à mettre une section de train en attente.
