Trecho do "Chant of Kualii". A propósito, alguém sabe onde eu posso encontrar mais detalhes (em português) ou até mesmo a tradução desse poema? Encontrei WATER BABY, de Jack London, mas ainda preciso de mais detalhes. Alguém pode me ajudar, please? :-)

Literalmente seria - uma corda de fibras de planta trepadeira prendia o gancho - mas, para manter a métrica/rima, diria apenas - "um cordel prendia o gancho (anzol)". Não sei se na época em que a canção foi composta (1700) o termo "anzol" já era utilizado.
