This is a certificate granted by a general hospital doctor after consultation with MHO .It states that a person needs to be hospitalised within 72 hours and could remain in hospital for further 72 hours in order to be assessed the patient and established whether or not the patient’s mental disorder requires medical treatment.
May be it is literal in this case ???
