Polish term

stacja dojazdowa

Polish to English Other Religion
Z tekstu o historii kościoła i parafii w określonej miejscowości.

Rural chapels, which were serviced by a priest from Oleck, were created in Borawskie and Kozia gora

1. Jak dawna ta historia? jesli sredniowiecze to uzywano wtedy stwierdzenia Vill - okreslenie wiejskiego terenu bez kosciola przynalezacego do parafii "parish" ARCHAICZNE

@silverspace
no to decyzja nalezy do ciebie :) rural chapel (chapel of ease tez pasuje) lub outpost.
Example sentence:

Rural chapels serviced by a priest from Oleck were created in village of Borawskie and Kozia gora

Note from asker:
Chodzi tu o XIX wiek.

outpost / makeshift church

?
Peer comment(s):

agree George BuLah (X) : imo -- the best one so far; this is about "church", not chapels - buildings

thank you JacaZwawa
agree Arkadiusz Kulpa : It all depends on the context. If the faith services performed there are of importance here then I would agree with you.

chapel of ease

A chapel of ease (sometimes 'chapel-of-ease') is a church building other than the parish church, built within the bounds of a parish for the attendance of those who cannot reach the parish church conveniently

Such a chapel may exist, for example, when a parish covers several dispersed villages, or a central village together with its satellite hamlet or hamlets. In such a case the parish church will be in the main settlement, with one or more chapels of ease in the subordinate village(s) and/or hamlet(s) - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chapel_of_ease

--------------

Until 1934 St Patrick's was a chapel of ease, with a visiting priest opening up to say Mass and then locking the doors again afterwards. - http://aseasideparish.blogspot.com/2008/09/st-patricks-south...

----------

(2) in especially large parishes a so-called chapel of ease was sometimes built to serve parishioners in the regions of the area more remote from the parish church. - http://goo.gl/15jA0h - page 283
