Hello everyone! How would you translate the term "calling on" into Portuguese in this context? I just can't come up with a good translation. I thought of the term "convidar" but I am not really sure if it would fit well in this context...



This document is about the account team/leads of a major pharmaceutical company wanting to do business with a major public hospital in Brazil (selling drugs for cancer treatment).

XX is a public hospital in Brazil.


XXX (pharmaceutical company) has been **calling on** XX (Public Hospital in Brazil) for the past 7 years. From your perspective, there is strong alignment between XXX and XX clinic directors like Dr. (NAME OF A DOCTOR). Alignment with others on the executive team like hospital administrator Dr.(NAME OF A DOCTOR) is still to be developed but you suspect, of increasing importance given that healthcare-related strategic goals are driven at the executive level and not at the level XXX is accustomed to dealing with.
