I'm really looking to distinguish "stepping" from "gait" in this sentence:
Students are observed to ensure that gait, balance, stepping and other abilities are sufficient to remain safe in travel-based environments.
This is what I have now:
I used "recursos" because I had already put "capacidad". My question, then, is: Are "andar" and "capacidad de caminar" redundant? Does anyone have another option? Thanks!!

I think this is more accurate given the context.
