Control when you receive Remoto call requests

Prerequisites for Going Online

  • You must have Remoto eligibility with at least one approved language pair
  • You need an active Remoto profile
  • Your Remoto profile status must be 'active'
  • Stream Video must be connected (check connection status)

Using the Availability Toggle

  • Find the availability toggle on your dashboard
  • If not Remoto-eligible, clicking will prompt you to request access
  • If eligible but not in pool, you'll be prompted to join the pool
  • Once prerequisites are met, toggle switches between Online (green) and Offline (gray)

Online Status

  • When Online: You're searchable in Remoto pool and can receive call requests
  • Stream Video connection is required to go online
  • You'll appear in pool searches for your approved language pairs
  • Incoming call notifications will be active

Offline Status

  • When Offline: You won't receive call requests
  • You're removed from active pool searches
  • You can still access your dashboard and settings
  • Toggle back online anytime when ready

Pool Join Status

  • Your pool join status is checked when you try to toggle online
  • If not joined, you'll need to select language pairs and submit a join request
  • Pool membership (approved language pairs) is required for the availability toggle to work
  • You can change which approved language pairs you use when going online
  • To add new language pairs, submit a join request (requires admin approval)
