Plus Tools error message

Having fairly recently acquired Wordfast, I've been trying to align some previous work in order to get the material into Wordfast's memory. But I'm unable to open PlusTools in order to do this - when I click the PlusTools icon I get a windows headed "Microsoft Visual Basic" saying "Run-time "error 91". Object variable or with block variable not set". I have no idea what any of that means.

The first time this happened I uninstalled and re-installed PlusTools and that seemed to solve the problem, but now I'm getting that same error message again and I don't want to have to go through the uninstall and re-install process every time I use it.
