Wordfast Pro 5.10.0 suddenly extremely slow

My WF is suddenly moving extremely slowly between segments, and I mean it takes about 10 seconds to move to the next segment. This happens whether I use the keyboard commands or the button. I uninstalled and reinstalled a fresh copy, I updated Java, but neither of those things helped. I've searched the documentation and these forums, and I haven't seen any mention of this problem anywhere else. Does anyone have an idea of what might be happening?
