I am very disciplined when it comes to my work, but if a job doesn't manage to motivate me or things are slow, I work and play on the same PC, so I will occasionally launch Steam and play something from my library.
I have been called a workaholic (mostly by my grown-up children) but I like what I do and I am free to do as I please. My favourite things to do, when I'm off work are walking my dog, reading, cooking, watching TV (with the exception of walking my dog, the order depends on my mood…).

When I have a tight deadline, I just make myself some coffee, stretch a bit, and go back to work. When I have ample time to complete my project, I usually go for a short run or do a pilates workout to clear my head.

While being their own boss, as every proz user is supposed to be. Errands! Why is meditation not on the list? It's so popular these days (and so boring if you ask me because I'm part of a different culture). And why doesn't the list mention thinking? Thinking is one thing I like to do even when I'm not translating. Another one is talking to an imaginary audience. Swinging both feet is too much: one foot will do the job with just as much style P. Browsing the internet is the only form of reading that's allowed to exist

Even if it's only to watch grass blades grow while sipping a bloody mary and listening to the whistling of the lovely stew simmering. Focusing on spots farther than 1 meter is also good for future-proofing my eyesight. I casually browse the internet on casual topics only when I am supposed to be working. Philippe

Walking around the house and imagining apocalyptic scenarios.
I like to do various activities among those in the list like browsing the internet, cooking, sport activity, but I also try to find the time to read a good book or magazines or draw. I wish I could dedicate more time to drawing or painting with a good record playing in background like I used to in the past, it really shuts down my mind and does wonders to my mood.

Going outdoors and touching grass is by far the best thing. Whatever you do outside, sporting, walking with your dog, or socializing, it will make some good for your mental health and physical fitness.
