Worked at the Library of Congress' Japanese section of the Asian Division (June - August 2009) as an intern, researching two of the library's important artifacts involving and requiring reading and researching in Japanese language (online and documents provided at the library) dating back in 1930s, Pre- and Post-World War.
Self-studying the language since junior high, took courses in high school (1st year) and college (2nd and 3rd year) as well as a short summer course at The Japan-America Society of Washington DC in 2009 and private course in Kofu, Yamanashi, Japan in 2011.
