Source text - English I would like to remind you that some of the statements we will be making today are forward-looking, based on the environment as we currently see it, and all such statements are subject to certain risks and uncertainties that may cause our actual results to be materially different from those expressed in today’s discussion.
Please note that today’s results are based on consolidated IFRS standards, prepared for your benefit, and have not yet been audited by an outside auditor
Let me start off with our business performance in Q3. Revenue in Q2 was KRW 7.374 trillion, down 27% QoQ and 6% YoY. Seasonality was a factor, as well as the macroeconomic environment and market volatility following the change in the pandemic situation. Operating profit was KRW 40 billion. Shipment of large and small OLED panel decreased, and LCD price fell. Operating profit margin in Q3 was 1%, with EBITDA margin at 19%. Net profit was KRW 54 billion.
Next is the company’s financial position and ratios. The company’s cash and cash equivalent at the end of Q3 was KRW 5.22 trillion. Inventory was KRW 4.01 trillion, increasing by KRW 770 billion QoQ. The inventory value was higher than usual, due to increased portion of OLED and high-end LCD products. Overall inventory level also increased, with the buildup of buffer stock to prepare against supply chain uncertainties like materials and logistics issues
Let me now move on to guidance for Q4 2022 and the company’s operation strategy. First is Q4 guidance. Individual panel price is expected to fall in large and medium segments. Area price is expected to fall, by around 10% QoQ due to continued seasonality in mobile panel. But area shipment in Q4 is expected to increase by low-to-mid 10% QoQ. Shipment of large OLED is expected to surge, with recovery in part of the volume affected by logistics and parts issues in Q3 and TV set makers’ preparation for seasonality and new product launches.
Translation - Korean

Bio
Hello, my name is Ki-moon Hong, and I am a Korean currently residing in Seongnam, South Korea. I am pursuing a major in Translation and Interpretation at Seoul University of Foreign Studies for my graduate degree.
After graduating from University, I served as a military officer. Following the completion of my military duty, I started working at the largest Korean food company as a store manager, and then as a supervisor of bakery franchise stores in the company.
During my 8-year tenure at the company, I learned how to communicate effectively with store owners and obtained a certificate as a Fair Trade Attorney, which required me to have special knowledge of the Fair Transactions in Franchise Business Act in Korea. I am familiar with legal terminology, and I believe that my various social experiences can be a strength in better understanding and translating various circumstances in the world.
Above all, my greatest strength is that I have professionally learned translation and interpretation at the best institution, Seoul University of Foreign Studies(SUFS). After working for 8 years at the company, I decided to quit my job because I truly love translation and interpretation. I studied hard and finally entered graduate school(SUFS), where I continue to study every day and night to become a professional translator and interpreter. I genuinely love this work.
Overall, I am very passionate about translation work and confident that I can provide diligent and sincere service.
