Ce vaisseau de soixante-cinq mètres, le plus imposant conçu par le fabricant à ce jour, est le premier au monde à disposer d’une coque à déplacement rapide faite entièrement d’aluminium. Ses qualités exceptionnelles, autant sur le plan de l'esthétique que de la performance, ont déjà été reconnues et récompensées par des experts du milieu, comme en témoignent les nominations aux Showboats Design Awards 2014 et les honneurs remportés au World Superyacht Awards 2014.
Grâce à sa coque révolutionnaire, dessinée par Van Oossanen Naval Architects, à la légèreté de sa structure unique et à ses deux puissants moteurs de 5592 chevaux-vapeur, le Galactica Star peut atteindre une vitesse de pointe de 28 nœuds. Pour les voyages de plus longue durée, il a une autonomie de 4200 milles nautiques lorsqu'il navigue à une vitesse de 12 nœuds. En raison de ses attributs remarquables, il est 30 % plus efficace que les yachts de même genre et permet une navigation toute en douceur qui favorise la détente des passagers. Le design intérieur, signé Bannenberg & Rowell, rend hommage au style privilégié de l'agence Omega Architects qui a œuvré à la finition extérieure. Dans ce véritable palace, la noblesse de l’ébène et du marbre superbement veiné côtoie la modernité des tissus en texalium et des panneaux Lamellux® rétroéclairés. Au salon principal, les placages d’érable sycomore et d’épicéa attirent le regard et rompent l’uniformité des structures monolithiques. Le Galactica Star peut accueillir jusqu’à douze invités à l'intérieur de cabines personnalisées, qui comprennent notamment une suite VIP au pont supérieur. Le beach club, situé au pont inférieur, retient l’attention en mettant à la disposition des passagers une large plateforme de baignade et une aire de repos intérieure et climatisée, où l’on trouve, entre autres, de confortables canapés, un bar, un sauna et un grand téléviseur à écran plasma. Enfin, une hélisurface, située au pont avant, permet les « posés-décollés ».

Bannenberg & Rowell’s interior design pays tribute to the distinctive style of Omega Architects, who are responsible for the exterior design. On this truly luxurious boat, the richness of ebony and magnificently striated marble mingle with the modernity of Texalium fabrics and backlit Lamellux® panels. In the main living room, sycamore maple and spruce veneers catch the eye and break up the uniformity of the monolithic structures. Galactica Star can accommodate up to 12 guests in customized cabins, which include a VIP stateroom on the upper deck. The beach club, located on the lower deck, attracts guests by providing a large bathing platform and an indoor air-conditioned seating area, featuring comfortable sofas, a bar, a sauna and a large plasma screen television among others. Finally a touch-and-go helipad is located on the bridge deck.
