i have studio 2017. accidentally closed the termbase viewer one fine day. after i got it pinned back up, it wouldn't display any terms. the terms would be underlined in red in the source text, but the termbase window only ever read "no terms to display" or whatever it is. what finally fixed it was this: close termbase window go to "view" click "term recognition" the end. | | | huutsch Local time: 04:40 German to English + ...

Unfortunately, this doesn't work for me Are there any other solutions, tips, hints? Best, Michael | | | huutsch Local time: 04:40 German to English + ... Still the same... | Dec 22, 2021 |

I saw this a few days ago with a Hebrew translator but can't reproduce it myself. So the more information I have to pas over to development the better. We also have some logging software we have been using, so if you are happy to run this for a little while I can make this available to you next week and perhaps this will shed some light on the problem for us? Regards Paul Hi Paul, What is the status on this? I am working with the current version of Studio and MultiTerm and I still have this problem. I've had it (for years). Is there a workaround at least? Reopening Studio sometimes helps, as does reorganising the TB often helps. | |

TB saves the sign ´ as a string of characters | Dec 29, 2022 |
I translate from Italian. There the character ' is often used. By chance I found out that TB does not store these words with this character ( ' ), but replaces these characters with a text string. Therefore these words are not found later. As a (annoying) workaround the following is possible: Open the word in MultiTerm. There the text string is displayed. Replace the text string with the character ' . After that Trados Studio will find the corresponding words again... | | | Stepan Konev Russian Federation Local time: 05:40 English to Russian

Hello Stepan Konev and thank you for controlling. I worked with 2019 witch had the problem. Actual Im working with 2022 and now it seems OK. Anyway there are more signs than the inglish ('), in Italian you find letters like (à, ì, ù, è, ò) but also this signs (´) and (`). But all this seems OK now. I´ve found another problem, but that I´ll poste seperate. | | | Pages in topic: < [1 2 3] | To report site rules violations or get help, contact a site moderator: You can also contact site staff by submitting a support request » Studio not recognizing terms - it's driving me nuts!
