I have been asked for inhouse CAD drawing localization ...
Can anyone tell me if and what tools exist for localizing CAD drawings? Is there any information or tutorial on such localization available on the web or elsewhere? Is it true that the text can be extracted from drawing files, translated and then re-inserted?

TIA for any information on the subject.

You can use Trados T-Window for Executables, or Catalyst Jun 1, 2005

these tools can extract some resources from executalbes.
