Bio

I am a Canadian lawyer and international arbitrator with 15
years of legal experience and three years of experience as a lawyer-linguist, legal English consultant and content creator. I
have worked extensively in the mining, electricity (including renewable
energy), oil & gas and transportation industries.

My passion for languages began when I was a small child. I
grew up speaking English and French interchangeably at home in Québec, Canada,
where bilingualism is ubiquitous. I then learned Spanish, Italian and Portuguese,
and now work in all five languages.

In 2020, I founded English for Lawyers, a legal English consulting firm which offers legal translation (FR, IT, ES, PT > EN), revision and legal English
classes and workshops for lawyers, law firms, corporate legal departments and bar associations. Through my
English for Lawyers LinkedIn page (which currently has over 11,700 followers) and my website, I post
content aimed at helping lawyers from around the world excel at using English
for professional purposes.
