Radiall Introduces Medical Cable Assemblies and Interconnect Solutions for Patient Monitoring Equipment

Paris, France, 1st June, 2010 – Radiall introduces its new cost-effective ECG cable assemblies and SpO2 interface cables for OEMs that provide patient monitoring equipment in the global marketplace. In addition to the standard range, these cables and connectors can be customized and designed in a wide variety of cable, connector and contact, and yoke configurations in order to meet a customer's requirements.

ECG cables feature fully shielded main trunk cables and patient lead wires to ensure signal integrity in high EMI and high noise environments. Trunk cables with three, five or ten lead wires can be supplied separately or integrated as a monobloc. Lead wires have non-detachable banana, snap-on or clip endings. Monoblocs are primarily used for emergency situations in order to save critical time when placing patient sensors and making connections.

SpO2 interface cables are available with all existing cable types used by major OEM manufacturers. In addition, Radiall’s technical expertise includes the capability to customize cable and connections by mixing contact configurations including fiber optic channels into the connection.

When integrating this type of new technology into the designing and manufacturing of medical cables and connectors using Radiall's technologies, Radiall is further able to develop and supply new and innovative products and interconnect solutions to the rapidly growing medical industry and its patient monitoring equipment and imaging systems.

All medical cables are designed and manufactured in accordance to ISO 13485 and ISO 9001. Products meet industry global standards and certifications such as IEC and AAMI.

Parigi, 1 giugno 2010 – Radiall presenta la propria nuova linea di cavi assemblati per ECG e di cavi d’interfaccia per sonde SpO2 destinati ai produttori di apparecchiature per il monitoraggio dei pazienti.
Oltre alla gamma standard, sia i cavi che i connettori possono essere progettati e “customizzati” offrendo molteplici soluzioni di cavi, connettori e contatti, e configurazioni yoke in modo da soddisfare le diverse esigenze dei nostri clienti.

I cavi per ECG main trunk e quelli a contatto con il paziente sono interamente schermati per garantire la qualità del segnale in presenza di interferenze elettromagnetiche e in condizioni “high noise”.
I cavi Trunk a tre, cinque o dieci derivazioni, sono disponibili separatamente o integrati in soluzioni monoblocco. I cavi elettrici sono equipaggiati con spine banana ed uscite snap-on o clip. La struttura monoblocco viene essenzialmente utilizzata per applicazioni in situazioni di emergenza per guadagnare tempo prezioso nell’applicazione dei sensori al paziente.

I cordoni d’interfaccia per sonde SpO2 sono disponibili con tutti i tipi di cavi normalmente utilizzati dai principali OEM.
Grazie alla propria esperienza, Radiall offre inoltre la possibilità di realizzare cavi e connettori “custom design” con configurazioni a contatti misti, incluse le connessioni in fibra ottica.

Bio

My name is Marina Marino. After my degree in Modern Languages, I worked in the field of tourism and for a Dutch airline. In 2000 I moved to the Netherlands where I started teaching Italian.

A special interest for languages, linguistics and cultures brought me to become a professional translator. I took my translation degree at ITV Hogeschool voor Tolken en Vertalen in Utrecht.

I hold also a Master's Degree in English to Italian Legal and Financial Translation from Icon Consortium in collaboration with University of Pisa and University of Genoa.

As a lifelong learner, I attend regularly seminars for translators.
