German term

einzeltitelrisiko

All of this to me sounds like we are translating an English text, poorly translated into German, back to English. How could it be that a native German would not find a decent replacement for "pricing"?!

And "die Bewertung des Ausfallrisikos des entsprechenden Einzeltitelrisikos" is rubbish at all, consider: "the evaluation of the risk of default of the risk related to a single category of securities".

Seems like somebody was trying to build up a pseudo-reputation as a super-guru of financial markets, sprankling in English financial terms into the German text, but failed to do so and, being fully aware of this, even tries harder to convince us that he is. :-)

3 KudoZ points awarded for this answer. Comment: "Dear Sir, I unfortunately accepted this text PRIOR to perusing it. I had no choice as to continue the engagement I had accepted. I did not intend to 'abuse' this very helpful website and have no track record of doing so. I apologise for the inconvencience caused, and will in future be more careful when accepting such jobs. I have 50 pages of this to translate (the quality of which you estimate quite accurately) and merely grouped my questions, not realising that I had 30 already. As I am currently sitting in a country were Internet is not so easily accessible I sent the queries off at once. Causing unintended annoyance. I would again like to apologise to you and thank all who spent time over my questions. Sincerely Natalie Wilcock "
