Jeu de Dames
This is a very strange question : Checker is not a French word and moreover placed at the end of a Menu.
Maybe it is a British or American restaurant who organize some "Checkers" championship and the Title of the tournament is called " grand prix Christiane" ( a local champion ?)
In french " Playing checkers" is : "Jouer aux Dames (some kind of simplified chess game).
And Prix means "award"

Wild guess: its not supposed to be on the menu, its an instruction to the layout artist to check the prices with Christianne Somebody-or-other.

checker=to check is OK in Canada, but...
Yes, we have the verb checker=to check in Canada. I think the 'wild guess' above is a real possibility -- an instruction that was accidentally typeset. I doubt it has anything to do with 'dames' (the game of checkers). The only other possibility I can think of is that some highly seasonal foods are listed on menus without a price; you are meant to consult the server to find out how much it costs on that day. ALL of this is just guessing -- there is NO obvious answer. I'd consult the client...
