English term

2 through 12

English Medical Medical (general) Medical report
physical Examination:

Neurological: Cranial nerves 2 through 12 inact and symmetric motor power.

Just want to know what does "2 through 12" refere to?
Does it mean 2 cranial nerves out of the 12 nerves are inact or it refers to the 2nd nerve?

intact It is intact not inact. Thank you Wnza.

it should say intact, not inact.
Enza Longo Apr 5, 2009:
sorry, I meant to type "shouldn't IT be"
Enza Longo Apr 5, 2009:
shouldn't be 'intact" and not "inact"?

from nerve 2 right through to nerve 12

this refers to All the nerves from 2 to nerve 12 inclusively, and all the other nerves in between 2 and 12, i.e. 2,3,4,5 ...to 12 etc.

From 2 throught to 12. i.e. 2-12.

-that's my opinion.
