has a soft velvety mouth feel with a clean, long finish
From Essential Wine Guide (link 1):
VELVETY
Soft, thick, and smooth on the palate.
MOUTH FEEL
The way a wine feels (as opposed to tastes) in the mouth; e.g., thin, oily, sumptuous, or viscous.
I suppose 醇厚also describes 余味, thus the clean (淳) rich (厚) finish.
