: Your translation suggests that the bean counters managed to document the undocumented balance. I'm not sure that is what was meant. The author is not complaining that 56% of the saldo sin soporte is now saldo con soporte (so to speak).

he's not complaining at all, read the question, the boss is sending a thank you note, in other words he's thanking the department for being able to document the previously undocumented balances in just 30 days, reread the whole question for full context
