Bio

I was born and raised in Ontario, Canada. I arrived in Japan in 1991.
After working for three years as an English teacher, I took on a position as an in-house translator at a machinery trading company in Tokyo. I later worked in-house at two translation companies.
I established Blue-J as a small business in 2003.
I specialize mainly in business communications and PR, offering translations that are accurate, natural, and easy to read.
I am comfortable working in a variety of fields, including electronics, automotive, telecommunications, and the food and drink industry.
