Situada entre Procida e Capri, Ischia foi a primeira colônia grega no Ocidente e não foi por acaso que os gregos a escolheram como o primeiro pilar comercial na península: a maior entre as ilhas Flegree, Ischia está repleta de fontes termais, merecendo o título de ilha da eterna juventude.
O antigo assentamento grego, que foi chamado Pithekoussai devido ao empório de vasos (os pithois eram de fato grandes vasos-recipientes), corresponde ao atual território de Lacco Ameno: os gregos ocuparam o promontório do Monte Vico, com a intenção de construir aí a Acrópole; os dois golfos naturais Varulo e San Montano para atracação de navios; a planície de Santa Restituta para a área de produção e o vale de San Montano destinado por sua vez à necrópole. Dentre estas estruturas as escavações trouxeram à luz a necrópole pagã, sobre qual foi posta aquela cristã do século IV d.C., e uma grande cisterna republicana reutilizada como uma catacumba.

I've been working in the Medical and Pharma field since 2010, but from 2019 it became my key field of experttise, as today it counts for 80% of my translation work. Clinical trials and all the work that comes with them are my day-by-day living.
