Maybe the previous pilot would know what to do Explanation: You tend to come across interesting phrases. You are right about 1. I also think that she is trying to avert accusations by wordy, lengthy expression. 2. The supposed answer to this rhetorical question is on the affirmative (she doesn't know what to do but the previous pilot must know it.) so I think she is more than just "wondering." It is essentially saying, 前のパイロットなら分っちゃうんだろうな。 |
