Importing Excel Glossaries into Trados without Multiterm

Dear fellow translators,

A friend of mine has recently purchased SDL Trados Studio 2019 Freelance Edition.
However, she did not purchase MultiTerm, which would have costed an additional fee.
Is there a simple way to import glossaries in the form of Excel files into Trados, without using MultiTerm?
Especially Excel files which have more information concerning each word pair than just the language. (4-5 columns)

MultiTerm is included as part of a Studio purchase, there is no additional cost. But even with this the easiest way is to use the Glossary Converter from SDL AppStore which is also free as long as you have a valid licence of Studio in the first place.
