worked as tv reporter correspondent and head of News & CurrentAffairs department in a TV news agency accredited toDoordarshan for over eight years.during these years I produced over 600 news based programmes for Doordarshan.In addition to them I have produced,directed & scripted over 100 documentaries,current affairs programms & commercials etc for doordarshan,various ministries & depts. of Government of India .
Mad a 13 episode radio serial for All India Radio.

Have been subscribing the articles to various national & regional news papers like Hinustan Dainik,Nav Bharat Times, Amar Ujala,Aaj,Rastriya Sahara Dainik Bhaskar etc. on wide ranging topics, and book reviews & poems in the magzines like Vasudha,Samkalin Sahitya, Hans and Kadambini and many others. Over eighteen short stories of eminent story writers translated by me from English have been published in Rastriya Sahara.

I have so far translated over twenty books which include Blasfamy of Tahmina Durrany ,Man’s Wordly Goods of Leo Huberman,Dynesty of S.S.
Gill,Good Earth of Pearl S. Buck, eight volumes of Indian History & two volums of Indian Economy for IGNOU.
Other Activities
Conducted a number of research studies on socio-economic issues including one for the Ministry of Rural Development,GOI.
Talks & book reviews on All India Radio.
Visiting faculty at Makhan Lal Chaturvedi Patrikarita Vishwavidyalya,Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan & NISCORT teaching PG students.
Served as Director Faculty of Film making at School Communication & Cine Art ,Faridabad.
